Lauren was home for the weekend for Kathy's birthday. We had a nice dinner at Salty's on Alki and had fruit filled "Crostada" from Whole Foods with vanilla H-Dazs for a birthday cake.

I am now officially Project Manager for the 13 floor remodel in place of Perkins Coie. My duties as Office Services Director have been assigned to someone else and I am concentrating on the project. It's been strange to move off of the 40th floor and spend most of my day working at my desk. However, I am getting used to it and look forward to the next couple of years of complex hell moving people and stuff around while managing a $25,000,000 construction budget.

motorcycle mania

i've just spent an hour going through five dealer websites looking for deals on motorcycles. I am not sure what style I want so I made notes on cruisers and sport tourers. Even though today I couldn't ride because of rain, and I have perfectly good Honda outside in the garage. Boys and toys, I guess. Would like a BMW R1200RT and they have one on Lake City in a nice blue color with a lowered frame that fits me great. It would cost $18,000 after trade in of the Honda!
